Pictures and Packing

We recently got new family pictures taken. I was happy with the turnout despite a not so good afternoon for Grant. We got one "smiley" picture from him. He usually is such a happy baby, but he was wanting to be in his bed snoozing rather than being posed for pictures.

Here is the website if you want to take a look: http://www.joscelynhawardphotography.com/Miller/

Packing is coming along pretty well. I had a productive day today, thanks to lots of episodes of Backyardigans for Laura. She asked the other day how we were going to pack the potty to bring with us to Searcy!

If you take a look at Jim's blog, I can mimic his emotions about moving. As you know, this is a hard move for us. We came here three summers ago not knowing anyone and now we leave with such rich friendships. Living in Knoxville has been a life-changing experience for me and I leave here with a wider perspective on many many things. I'm so thankful for the growth, but wow it hurts to leave!!

those turned out wonderful! I couldn't pick a favorite b/c there were so many that I loved! I need to get that girl's name and number, I would love for her to do some family shots of us.

Your family photos turned out lovely, Sara.

You already know how I feel about you guys moving, but I know that God has tremendous things in store for you! I'm so blessed to know you guys and I know that you will also be a blessing to the new friends you make in Searcy. Thanks for your friendship.

The family photo is beautiful!

I know that moving must be so difficult, but you guys know people all over the place and I am sure that moving back to Searcy will be an easier transition than you think. Troy always said that Jim is going to be the next president of Harding so it would be hard for him to be president with you guys living in Knoxville. ha. You are in our prayers!

I want about ten of those pictures!

And I want you to know that I am praying for your transition and for your hearts to heal and be open to what God has on your horizon. Love ya, Sassy Sissy!

Sara,
I read your post and Jim's about leaving Tennessee, and I can honestly say if we ever left Arkansas, we'd feel the same way. It has nothing to do really with Arkansas itself, but everything to do with the family we have now. Leaving our church home would be one of the hardest things we'd ever have to do, so know that I'm praying that God will give you comfort as you leave and move back to Searcy. I'd love to catch up with you guys sometime once you get settled in when we're in town for a visit. Take care! God bless your move!

Love,
Leanne

My heart hurts for you! It is so awesome that you were able to form such a great niche in Knoxville. I know it will be hard to come back to Searcy. We are praying for ya'll and know that God is faithful and that you all follow Him.

Sara,
I know this is difficult for you guys. I feel little guilty for being excited about you moving back only because I know this is not easy for you. I do know that there are many people here who love you and Jim and are ready for you to get back and get involved. See you soon!
Those are really good photos!

Sara - I've enjoyed following your blog and the emotions of transitioning to a family of four and now back to Searcy from the new place you've called home. From the comments here, it sounds like you, Jim and your family will be a blessing anywhere you go. Best of luck to you!

Kathryn

(Not sure if you remember me from Harding, but I moved into your room in Searcy Hall with Andrea and Maria when you and Cara moved out. Small world!)

It's so hard to go...I can only imagine. It's hard enough to let you go! I'm just happy for you guys to be moving on to the next stage of your lives, and that you have friends waiting for you in Searcy who already know and love you. And if you just can't stand small town life anymore, the big city of Knoxville will always have a place for you!

Thanks for your friendship over these past three years, one that I look forward to continuing. Love you!

Great photos. Laura sure knows how to pose!

I know it is a difficult time for you right now. You are in our prayers! Hopefully we will be able to get together so we can meet Grant and Sadie can finally meet Laura, who she loves because of the ballet video...
