Laura has been the best big sister. She is very helpful and right now she is getting some good entertaining from Meme and Don-Don. They took her to see "Horton Hears a Who" and to the mall on Friday. Yesterday, she went to McDonald's to enjoy a Happy Meal and ice cream.
We had a good Easter filled with a yummy ham lunch, baskets, and an egg hunt. Laura loved all of it and Grant was along for the ride.
Other big news that happened this week was that we do have a contract on our house. We finalized that on Saturday with the realtor. We are scheduled to close at the end of April and we will rent from the buyers till June 15th. Of course this is all pending inspection which will take place in a couple of weeks.
As you can see our plates are filled with a newborn, house, transitions, adjustments for all of us. We welcome your prayers!!
Enjoy the pics.

Sara, Grant is too cute! And Laura is beautiful as always! You look great! I can't wait to come and see him in person. I have thought about you everyday but haven't called b/c I know what the transition is like and you have company too. I will be calling this week though to come by and meet Grant and drop off a "big sister" present we have for Laura.
What a fun Easter! It looks like Laura is having a blast with her little brother. Congrats on the house contract, too! Thanks for the update and you guys are in our prayers!

Great news all around! You guys look like you're doing great. Grant has found the right family to settle into. Thinking of you often...
WOW a busy house! Try to get some rest too. Looks like you had a great Easter. Laura looks very cute in her dress! Grant what a sweet baby boy! Glad the house is going well just one thing you will not have to worry about in the summer when heading back to Searcy. Just let us know when you are coming. We got room for you!
Great to hear from you, Sara! I was telling Jim at church that I was ready for some new pictures!
Sounds like you are doing very well in your transition- grandparents are a huge help aren't they? Take care and try to "rest" as much as possible while you have help.
Yea about the house! And what a beautiful family picture! don't you love being a family of four! i hope everything is going well.
Congratulations! He is precious!!! Hope y'all are all doing well!
Fun photos! Laura just LOVES her baby brother, doesn't she??? So sweet.
I think Sadie is anxious for a siblng - she says she wants a sister named Gretl (sound of music) or a brother named Maria. (Lord help him!).
She will just have to wait. And wait. Ha.
