Dr. Laura

Laura has recently taken an interest in her doctor kit. She takes care of her babies by listening to their hearts, checking their ears, and giving them medicine.

Just last week Laura had to get on some antibiotics for an ear infection. So, being the safe mom that I am, I put her yummy bubblegum medicine high on a shelf above her changing table out of her reach.

The next day, she was talking to me about giving her babies some medicine. I assumed she was talking about using the pretend medicine dropper in her doctor kit. So, I told her that was a great idea. I leave her room to get something and come back. Where do I find her? She has climbed onto her changing table and she is standing up reaching for HER medicine. AGH! Needless to say, she received a strong reprimand. Maybe it is time to take the changing table down!

Sounds like you have a monkey on your hands. Next she will be swinging from the fan. Ha ha

Oh we all have the flu!! All three of us. Don't you want to come for a visit right now???

She was determined, wasn't she???

Sadie has become a climber as well, but luckily, only onto the soft things (sofa, chair, futon, ottoman). I am praying she won't try to climb her ladder shelf in her room. I know it is only a matter of time, though...

Why is our daughter always half-naked in every photo you post!?

Our friends and family are going to think we never dress her!

Love you.

My girls are in to "making" concoctions in the kitchen. I cannot tell you how much milk, juice, and who knows what else has been "used" (I really want to say wasted) in these things! It seems that every time I turn around the refrigerator door is open and a little person is inside!

Jim...our little people like to be half (or whole) naked too pretty often...many times though you will find us in our pj's though! This is the life!

Jim, I was going to make that comment, but thought for sure Brad would, if he checked the blog. I was leaving it for him...

Looking forward to the climbing days...probably right around the time we bring a new baby home from the hospital. Sigh. Life is about to get VERY interesting!

That Laura is a bold one! Sam has learned a new trick this week as well...he can now climb into his crib all by himself. And, naturally, he is trying his hardest to figure out how to climb out as well. What to do? I've actually seen his little foot on top of the railing! I can't picture him in a bed already, but maybe...
