So, I'm a week late in posting pictures from Grant's birthday. Seems like life is just busy right now keeping up with the house, kids, and my one class I teach at Harding.
It truly is hard to believe that a year has gone by since Grant came into our life. Have I said how much I love having a little boy? He is SO different from Laura in many many ways. He is all boy and she is all girl!
Jim's parents joined us for the big celebration and thankfully my parents were with us via "skype". Grant did not hold back at enjoying his cake.
Jim and Laura thought it would be fun to get their faces all messy.
Grant LOVES his Playskool Busy Gears toy. We also got him a baby activity walker. I am hoping that he will push this around instead of the kitchen chairs.

Sara, he is gorgeous! I can relate to the all boy :) I can't believe he is one either. I love that Jim and Laura got in on the messiness of the day :) Don't you just love Skype, that is a great invention.
Looks like a load of fun! Cute cake...did you make that? Gotta have the blue icing...are you enjoying how that lingers for days in more ways than one? LOL!

I so enjoyed seeing the pictures of Grant with his cake! Too cute!! I'm glad he had a good Birthday. :)
Did not make the cake & did not ask for blue icing either!! I wish I could be a creative cake maker! Yeah, I didn't know about the lingering effects of colored icing until it made its appearance the next day with Grant. I was a bit freaked out at first till I realized what it was! HA!

Love it!!! That Grant smile is priceless! Love that dad and sister got into the action also. Although it seems everytime I see Jim eat that is the end result anyway! ha ha

Happy Birthday Grant! I can't believe he is a year old, I remember checking your blog and Jim's several times the day he was born. It makes me think how fast this year is going to go with Chloe. We have turned into a Skype family too!
